Yikes! Looks to be built for speed also. Very cool though. Great job.
I have a Military Thriller (books) series coming out where the main vehicle the main character and his crew utilize was (originally) a mix of a M113 APC and AAVP7A1 Amphibious Assault Vehicle...on steroids, with a nod towards the size and general body type of the fictional Warhammer 40k Crassus Heavy Transport Vehicle.
I have since changed the overall TYPE of the military vehicle to a HTV (Heavy Transport Vehicle) versus a APC though basically my vehicle holds a 4-5 man crew (driver, navigator, commander and a front and rear gunner) and it has a large cargo bay within that can hold a number of troops or smaller equipment...perhaps a ATV or two.
A artist friend did a illustration of the vehicle. I will have to post it on my profile page so you can check it out.

Thanks the 8 wheeler is the common type issued to regular infantry, while the ones with big front wheels are a special type only used by elite and better equipped mechanised divisions (like the panzer lehr from ww2).Β
I'd definitely take a look, it sounds pretty broad able to carry troops as well as smaller vehicles. If it'a a heavy transport then it it used for grand scaled operations or just anything not covert?Β

Mostly my big HTV is almost used as a semi-truck, hauls just about anything that can fit inside it. Used in operations where they have to roll through hostile territory, or just on feeding runs into the UCRA (Urban Civilian Retention Area) where the "domesticated" undead are...the city loads the HTV with crates of doped meat and they (the poor grunts who have to do the run) take it into the area, uncrate it and get the hell out of there.
In my first TRANSPORT book, my main character, Captain Jake Billet, his crew and the HTV Ridgerunner-class HURON, actually are on a covert mission of sorts to get a very unliked out-of-town commissioner BACK to his home. People can be quite...hostile...against the commissioner as he has committed heinous crimes against humanity both living and unliving. And little does the asshole know (and he is a big asshole to everyone) that Captain Billet has his own grudge against the man...as he was responsible for the deaths of Billet's wife and son.
Considering it has zombies, they are more in the background, speedbumps (sometimes literally LOL) along the way. It is more about the massive transport vehicle and her stalwart crew.

Thanks. I will definitely keep you briefed. The series is more focused on the big HTV (heavy transport vehicle) and crew...zombies just in the background causing havoc (or humor) when appropriate.
My stories are set in 2025. The zombie apocalypse started in 2013 with that years very nasty and pandemic strain of H7N9 Bird Flu...totally fictional as H7N9 is no where even close to (thankfully) how my fictional tale uses it.

The Walking Dead meets Revolution with big ass military vehicles...yeah. LOL
Yeah, let's wait to see how the series unfolds and if it garners any interest. One never knows. I certainly enjoyed writing it...well..I am still enjoying writing it...I need to start and complete BOOK THREE. Takes me about 4-5 months to knock out a 40-50k word novella/novel. (I have a day job AND a family.)
