The Sweeps are Galvatron's personal clone army, each soldier literally struck from the same mold. Though their loyalty is unquestionable, most Sweeps spend more time being destroyed by Galvatron rather than their Autobot foes, due to the diminutive Warlord's insecurity and irrational thought process.
