Description I wrote a suprising amount. For all who read it all, you will get a cookie.
You are all sitting there staring at this thinking 'Why is Fizz drawing random (if not very cute) rabbit things when she SHOULD BE DOING THOSE DAM ART TRADES!' My answer is shut up I have a headache. I don't why I drew these but I did. I did them yesterday actually and wanted to try something different. I sometimes go onto random spurs of fan art, just smile and nod.

Anyway, anyone played Drawn to Life? No? Just me? OK then. It's an OK game, a basic platformer really making its money from the ability to draw your own character and things in the world. You can't just draw whenever you want and choose what it does (thats more Scribblenauts territory. Haven't heard of that either? Google these things. ) but you can draw whatever you want when the time is given to you. I'm no good at the drawing bit as it is basically pixel art. I suck at pixel art.
But anyway, I've been playing through it again in boredem and I remember how fucking cute the raposa are. Raposa means fox in Portuguese apparently (they look more like rabbits to me. )
These are a couple of the main characters. 1, 2 and 3 are Jowee. He is wearing fucking goggles for crying out loud! How can you not love him? The girl is Heather. Half her face is black, its shadow goo ( ). I thought she was half robot for ages. And she doesn't talk through half the game. But is still bloody cute.

If the gameplay doesn't get you, the cuteness will. Just because you haven't played it doesn't mean you can't think they are cute. 1 was my first time drawing Jowee and I kinda like it. 2 is where my skill went downhill. I wanted to do him sitting down, arms folded so he is irritated at something. Don't ask what, these are random. 3 is him eating a cookie. He is stomach first. And 4 is Heather being cute. Nuff said.
Was going to do Mari (what who?!) but she failed and is a whiney bitch anyway. (She spends half the game moaning about Jowee being mean to her and not being around. He went to get you a fucking flower you harsh cow and he is adorable! ) No I like her really.

I'll stop now.

Of course. Well done, I tend to write a lot in comments no one reads.
Its a nice little game that eats up a suprising amount of time. It isn't hard to play though but the story is nice.

I always read comments and feel stupid when I realise there was nothing in them. But sometimes you find something interesting.
lol It was suprisingly hard to find references. The game uses sprites to show the characters so I couldn't be accurate. All I had was some box art and a animated video from the start of the second one. (There are two. )

it is writing them that really makes you feel stupid - you go back, read it, and think WTF am i going on about, but then (if your me) leave it be because you can't be bothered to edit it. still, sometimes you come across long comments that aren't waffling on (never seems to be my comments though).
at least you had something to go off, it could have been worse

Yep, I always do that. How much I write depends on what I've drawn, if it is something like this where I need to explain myself then loads. If it is what I always do then people generally accept it.
Never do fanart. You can never find the right reference.

i can't remember what the last fanart i did was. i think it might have been something from dragon adopters, but i'm not sure...
i remember trying to draw charmander from memory, and failing so i found a free lineart, and coloured it in blue, instead

I don't do it often cause I fail drawing from references but I've always wanted to do something Pokemon related as it was one of my first games. I just never have the time.

you could also do something like ditto - a pinky-purlpe blob, a few black lines for facial features, and a tiny bit of shading, and you done

lol That would be easy. I remember having a ditto in my old Pokemon Blue but it wasn't very good.

ditto is best in the later games, when you can breed pokemon, because you can get loads of eevees, and otehr rare pokemon. i can't think of anything that would be easier to draw that ditto, except the original glitch pokemon, which just looked like screen static

Good for breeding but fighting ain't so good. I just make it spew out eevees so I can evolve every type most of the time.
lol That one is just black and white lines, it would take me 2 minutes.

you wouldn't even need a reference
i usually breed eevees as well - only way you can get hold of the pesky little things

Although getting a ditto in any other game is impossible. You have to trade it and need two consoles for that. Which I don't have.

i just "borrow" my brothers, or bug my friend until she lets me use hers .

I have a habit of now returning what I borrow until months later. So no one gives me anything any more.

i do the same, unless i'm reminded constantly that i still need to return it.
i never forget when someone owes me something tho - which reminds me, my friend owes me a quid ah well, i'll have to get it off them tomorrow.
