Nice scene, and I like how the textured models turned out. Just out of interest, do you know how many polygons each model has?

Thank you! Each model is made up of relatively few polygons. I think each has around 4-5 dozen. I don't really keep track of how many polygons I use, even though I should

Thanks.
Unless you're not using the model in any realtime-rendering you don't really need to worry so much about the count sinve it's usually other effects that forms the bottle-neck.

nice rendering. I really like the designs of the capitol ships, are there smaller destroyer class ships as well that would run escorts to them? i see the smaller fighter wings, but those don't look like they would hit enemy capitol ships very hard. though not knowing your ship classification size, forgive me if I'm being ignorant about whatever you are calling them (XD) (I'm calling the one with the single ring spinning around its hull a heavy cruiser, the smaller double ringed one a light cruiser, and the big ones with the ring inside of the hull a battleship)

Thank you, and no youβre not being ignorant . The medium sized capital ship with one ring around its center is indeed a heavy cruiser. The smaller capital ships are destroyers. Also you are partially right about the squadrons. They are gunboats I designed to deploy, and give close air/space support to marines. However, they are packing enough missiles to put some nice sized holes in a destroyer if they need to. Also you are dead on with the battleships.

haha thanks, I'm a HUGE fan of sci-fi and space naval battles. also a fan of the more square ship designs that look like they are suited for broad sides or heavy bow weaponry rather than the sleek rounded ships. also favorited~
