We might get more info on her if Team RNJR and Co remain in Argus and if the last two Episodes are anything to go by. not likely. 

Or she could just be a red herring made by Rooster Teeth to screw with us.

As for the whole "not really dead" thing, well I can´t be the only one who thinks that Pyrrha´s headpiece looks an awful lot like the Relic of Choice?

At least in terms of shape, since we didn´t see the coloration in Jinn´s flashback.

But let´s get this checked:

It´s golden, was the only piece of Pyrrha´s armor not affected by Cinder´s power, and Ozpin did say that he made it more difficult to find than the others. It could mean that the vault can only be reached with his help, but it could also mean that the relic was with a very skilled warrior (Pyrrha) at all times.

Ozpin also wanted her to become the Fall Maiden, probably to make sure she could defend herself, as well as the Relic.

Now, I don´t believe that this was Pyrrha herself, since someone pointed out that someone else said they heard that it was her mom (and the fact that Pyrrha is dead is a key point in my fanfiction, so I can´t have her be alive).

Still, maybe the relic sent her into the future or something, and she´ll be back next volume or so.

The last one would be the hardest sell, for sure (specifically, if they deploy the "Not Really Dead" trope), and that is coming from someone who's seen the possibility of a resurrection as narratively sound from the start, let alone what we know about the setting now.  It, like everything else, is a matter of examining everything to figure out if the event is functionally sound.  Then, and only then, do we examine the aesthetics.

Remember, there were theories about how they could have done Not Really Dead, but one of them was farfetched, as it involved Emerald's hallucinations.  I did a detailed breakdown a while back on that on the RT boards.

Now, there IS one other person that could have done it, though they'd REALLY have to find a way to justify it: Neo.  That entirely depends on where she was at the time of the curb-stomp on the tower (it's disingenuous to call it a "fight"), as well as when she decided that Cinder was to blame for Roman's death (keep in mind that Cinder has gained Neo's allegiance through force, not words, as well as the fact that Neo DID go after Cinder FIRST.  This might be a backstab attempt from the beginning on Neo's part).  Also to note that Neo CAN use her Semblance in a AOE-style wide-range image, as we do not see Neo and Roman ascend to the Bullhead after the fight with the Paladin.

I feel like it would have spoiled a surprise, otherwise they would have.  Every other new character, even those that appeared or only spoke in post season finales like Raven and Salem, had their names listed, but she's the only exception... if it WAS just Pyrrha's mom or sister, don't think they'd have kept her name from us.
