Wow. That is nice! Most the people in my school live 15 mins away. They look at me stupid when I tell em I live 1hr away. Yeah, there is school w/my program only 15 mins away, but if I went to a university the classes wouldn't transfer and I'd have to take them all over again and that would take longer! You can only take up to 3 classes at a tech school. >.>

I wish! It takes an hour to get there. Plus the 2 classes I take last a bit. Then another hour to get home. Just a short study time period then off to work. I\'m so tired when I get home I slump on the bed. XP
Only on weekends. I refuse to study...for now. XD

Yes! In fact, I originally began drawing that sketch in December 2006 after watching the movie over Thanksgiving weekend. I'm so bad, I had to rent it, didn't even own it at the time! My family got me the DVD that Christmas. I later got two autographs on the slip cover and insert!

Alan Young (Hiram Flaversham) and Barrie Ingham (Basil). Met Alan at an autograph show last July in Burbank and Barrie at a Sci-fi convention in Sacramento last September.

Haha, of course they're still alive, very much so, in fact! Alan was a guest at the Hollywood Collectors & Celebrities Show in Burbank, CA last July 21. I brought my GMD DVD slip cover and insert and he signed them. I also bought a Scrooge McDuck picture at his autograph table. Alan still voices Scrooge for Disney shows as of now. He was very quiet, but such a doll! I confided that I was so glad to meet him, and he stood up to give me a hug! Such a nice man!
And then Barrie was a guest at a convention called Creation Entertainment in Sacramento, CA the weekend of September 28-30. I brought quite a few things to have signed, but I also purchased stuff from his table. Due to the size of the convention, not many people came through the room, so I got to talk to him quite a bit. Barrie is very charming, extremely delightful in person. I was so thrilled I got to meet a cartoon hero from my childhood!

I meant reactions to meeting you or answering your questions?

Oh! Forgive me, I misunderstood. I really didn't get to talk to Alan all that much. The time with him was short but still sweet. He was quiet but very kind and reacted pleasantly to my excitement of meeting him in person. Barrie, on the other hand, was a whole different story. He talked quite a bit and I got to see him much more. I think I made a good impression to him. He seemed very thrilled to have met me and the questions I asked kept him busy as well as amused! A friend had three specific questions and I typed them out for him. He ended up writing down the answers on the paper: "I feel like I'm in school!" he had to say. I presented him with my GMD artwork as a gift and he was very overwhelmed. He's dubbed me the honorary leader of the Basil Society. I don't know what that means, but I assume he places me at a high rank of very dedicated GMD fans, so yeah, it's an honor for me.
