20/20Ritchuko became a huge hit and gathered a big otaku following until she fell off the charts several years later. What happened to her after that? Maybe you have an idea!
You could consider this whole comic an homage to Joe Six Pack's great story Shisutaabooi, which was one of the things that got me into TG in the first place. A lot of the ideas also came from

There was this one TF Kisakae who I really liked, but he/she was really thin-skinned and got banned for fluids, I think, then raged about it and left. There was this idea though, of a protester of the music industry college-age girl getting painfully brainwashed (his specialty, guy was good with tears) into being a teen idol. It had a very They Live feel to it.
So, because you beat me to referencing this is kind of similar to Shisutaabooi, here's the other thing this reminded me of.

Hm it was a fun sequence to read, though this is a little extreme even for the usual standards of uneven retribution common in tf fiction. all he did was bump into someone and accidently touch their breast, hell he was even really sorry about it, just had issues communicating it. Honestly I'd kind of want the lady who caused this to get some form of connupence or at the very least the former boy to escape from her stranglehold. But don't get me wrong I still enjoyed it.

Well, the lady pretty much is a villain here. She might get a comeuppance later, depending on what will happen in the next part (if there will be a next part, I'm not sure yet).

Ah so that's how you spell comeuppance, hm if you don't mind a suggestion for a next part, maybe of reversal of power. The lady loses her job for reasons that may or may not be related to this, while the transformed boy is aware that this gig was going to last a few months at best either saves up the money he being paid, or if idols aren't paid (admittly I know little about these things) uses connections she gotten from her fame to set her self with a high paying job, or marry some who does have one. The transformed boy meets the lady again on the street, takes pity on her and gives the lady a job as a maid or personal assistant. That just the idea that comes to my mind, you probally have a better idea in mind.

I think being made to work as an idol singer is actually MORE dehumanizing in it's own way than the girlification. And I'd say that by the time she's 'used up' by the company and the public move onto a new fad, she'll BE Ritchuko for all meaningful purposes. Not that these are the type of people to care. Once she's a product that no longer sells, she'll be struck with no other viable talents to job search. Then again, do Japan have a international hockey team?
