Boeing 747 is over 50 years old! Let's pay some tributes to the Queen of the Skies.
This is Lufthansa 747-8 D-ABYG, aka Baden - WΓΌrttemberg. I've never seen a 747 up close; I've watched some of 747-8s through a detached telescope of an old airgun. Couldn't find my binoculars, alright?
Sitting in the quiet backyard, watching planes fly. Couldn't be any better, aside sitting in the airport of course.

All American airlines have retired their 747s. Fortunately, at my home airport (DEN), Lufthansa and British Airways still bring the magnificent birds.Β

747s are indeed magnificent. Because my nearest airport (IEG) operates only one scheduled route (woah, that's a lot...) the only chance I've got to spot some Jumbos is just looking at the sky.
Luckily most of them are descending towards Leipzig, so sometimes the view is really enjoyable as the aircraft slowly descends through FL250 or so!

I agree. But if possible, creating a larger craft with quad engines powerful, silent, and eco-friendly as this generation's jet engines, that will be quite awesome.
