My half of a trade with ~Verycrazygirl of her Scottish Red Deer character Virgil, whom she plays in The Endless Forest. His antlers are in velvet here. I love deer and have been practicing drawing them lately. I would love to get some thoughtful species-specific critiques on this if possible!Commission information: [link]

The anatomy is really lovely, Flann! The antlers are good too, and the pose is wonderful. I haven't really got any species-specific critique for it as I don't draw deer enough and I'd feel rude. I do, however, have lots of photographs of Red and Fallow deer on my alternate DA account if you'd like a link for use in future?
