Boy, was this a long time coming. Seriously, it took me ages to finally post this guy.

Here we have Saburo Kohta, the biological grandson of Master Tobei Kohta and the elder foster brother of Barry Kohta. Saburo is considered one of the best and most experienced shinobi at the Kohta School, and is next in line to run the school after Master Kohta. When they were children Saburo was resentful of Barry's presence, seeing Barry as an embarrassment and failure. But as the two grew up (and after several dangerous life changing mission) Saburo finally grew to accept Barry as his "true brother".

Saburo is a very distant and moody, often avoiding needless interaction with others. It wasn't until he started working with Shonnie Flash and the other heroes that he began to open up and become more social. In contrast to his shinobi title, Saburo is very temperamental and easily annoyed by silly antics. Which doesn't help when he was stationed in Icaria and forced to work with Brick McCloud and Raizu.

Being the top student at the Kohta School of Ninjitsu, Saburo is skilled in the use of various weapons and jutusus. However he primarily prefers wind and earth based jutsus, not unlike his brother Barry. Saburo's preferred weapon of choice are a pair of short katana blades. Saburo is also fearsome hand-to-hand combat expert and has skills in striking pressure points to incapacitate his opponents.

Saburo has a friendly (although very competitive) rivalry with Shonnie Flash and the two would frequently challenge each other to sparring matches. Saburo is also a firm believer in karma and often feels whenever something bad happened to him or someone he cares about, it is somehow a result of his own actions (whether or not he actually did anything.)

He dosen't like to talk about it, but Saburo has a secret passion for music and is skilled at playing the sitar and other string instruments. Saburo also has a habit of describing things in a dark and often poetic monologue.

(That's right, Saburo is going to be a character in Fighting Ambitions, too. Just because I can. )

Saburo was given the mission by Master Tobei Kohta to infiltrate Darwin Salazar's Neo Horizon organization and uncover the dangerous "secret weapon" that Darwin has been working on behind the scenes. After learning about the Valor brothers' intention to enter the tournament and defeat Salaza,r to avenge their father's death, Saburo secretly aided Rally and Eric while maintaining his cover as one of Darwin's hired fighters in the Fighting Ambitions tournament.
