I did this some time ago. I wasn't really sure where I was going with this tbh, I just saw one of my favourite artists, Ilya Kushivnov do some lighting exercises and I wanted to try it out xD I'm still miles away from reaching their level though haha, but it was still a fun exercise.Related content

Even if you're not quite at the level of skill, this is still some fantastic work. Makes me think I should practice lighting more too. As of now mine is kinda all over.
But I digress, this is a beautiful sketch(?!?!).

No worries, my lighting tends to be all over the place as well xD Sometimes it's hard to wrap my mind around light directions haha. It is fun to practice though, you should totally practice more
