Glad you like it. I can see why you think it a bit creepy, though it's not supposed to be that way. O.o

yeah, their placement caused me some bit of trouble when I was designing the mask.

Glad to hear you like it.
I understand about the glasses thing, I used to wear them as well. I have made some masks that can be worn with glasses, and could make one again. All it would take is a couple measurements of the glasses themselves, as well as the usual facial measurements. The only issue after that would be the slight extra distance from the eye that wearing the glasses over the mask would produce. Either that, or the center portion could be cut out to allow the glasses to rest on the nose, and the mask might rest slightly on the temples of the glasses. Many possibilities.

I've been testing stuff with cut-outs, a bit like this :[link] The nose looks free enough for the glasses to rest on
I sort of need a mask for Halloween and I toyed with making something like this in cardboard. But leather would be much nicer. I nearly bought this one but then thought, what if it doesn't fit?
And and I don't have so much time for such things. Maybe we can work something out but giving the shipping time (I live in Switzerland) and the fact I will need it on the 28th already...
But even so it would be fun to design something even for another occasion. I sure would love to learn to work with leather, but I really don't need another hobby
I was thinking either swirls like that mask (kind of steampunk) or an animal thing, like a fox.
BTW, seems we have similar jobs. I've been working in a natural history museum for 18 years now

something like that mask would be very nifty, though getting it to you by the 28th might be a bit tough, true. Thinking on it, I would either make the mask out of rawhide or garment leather, not the regular saddle skirting/tooling leather I use for the rest of my masks. Details are still hazy though as to how I would fit them. *shrug* It's great working in a museum (I work in a little geology museum) though I've not worked in it for nearly that long.

Sorry for taking so long to answer. Life is a bit crazy at the moment.
Well, it can also be done for next year's Halloween I have an idea for a quick mask/veil thingy for this year. It would leave time to think things through and test with paper dummies maybe.

Thanks. I hope to get a better photo tomorrow so that you can see the full detail on the color. Trust me, this picture doesn't do it justice at all.

I can believe that. You have a folder in DB too.
In any case I think your doing wonderful stuff with your masks, you could certainly do some nifty stuff. I think your just as talented as any of the mask makers here.
