In Worlds of shelladon many of the species have babies! <3

The names of each species and what their babies are called are as follows:

Turtledogs: Pups
Whimlets: Kidlets
Baboths: Seedlings

Babies in World of shelladon are born with MINIMAL markings and colors! Their adult markings will slowly appear as they get older! This rule goes for all Shellian babies!

Here is a bit about the different types of Babies!

Whimlets:
In order for a kidlet to be born, a whimlet must collect a gemstone, and place it upon the most inner centered rock in the middle of the Reliquary, and leave it there for the cave to do it's magic.
In three days time, a small baby whim will be born with hardly any markings aside from fawn spots on them, and the gemstone embedded into the center of it's forehead. After a few weeks, the baby whims will have gotten a handle on how to walk, fly, and move around. At this point, their gemstones will fall out of their heads as their horns begin to poke through. They will then be able to absorb star energy through their own horns directly from the stars instead of using the energy that the gem had amassed. Each whim's gemstone is taken and placed within the Reliquary for safe keeping, and as a representation of their lives.
Over the next few years, kidlets will grow up, losing their baby fawn spots and gaining unique colorations and markings. Around 25 years is about the marking point of adulthood for whimlets.

Turtledogs:
When Turtledogs mate they mate for life. Eventually a happy couple will come across a blessing berry, which starts the mating ritual. This mating ritual creates a special bond between the two turtledogs in the form of eggs.
Within each of these eggs a baby turtledog is waiting to be born. This process usually takes about two months.
Once the egg hatches, a baby turtledog emerges! These babies are called pups. Pups are very defenseless for about the firth 5 months of their life. So the parents usually stay close by to them.

Pups when they are first born do not have all the markings of the adult turtledogs. When they are first born they usually are just their base color, with very minor color variations. Their adult markings slowly develop as they grow. A turtledog's markings are not completely developed until they are about 2 years old.

Baboths:
Baboth are conceived by two adult Baboth (gender does not matter) who combine the pollen spores they naturally carry on their body and sprinkle it on a seed, they plant the seed in the ground near the 'Mystic Mushroom Patch' which is said to hold magical properties provided by Shelladon When the seed grows to its final form a flower in the base color of the Baboth blooms and inside lays a baby Baboth also refereed to as seedlings as a small joke.
When Baboths are born, they have very few markings and color, these markings will appear when they are older!

A: Yes they do! the one set of markings they do have is that on their shell!
