So, to clarify a few things:
This bean (plus the other gemstones) is from an exclusive Tribe*: Comet Keepers
They descended directly from Gemstone comets, a feat not many are able to do.
They EXCLUSIVELY kept part of the comet (the stones), and they are permanently a part of their bodies.
The stones are filled with astounding magic, and as the Stargazer grows, the magic does as well.
