And there we have it. You should now know how to draw Papyrus' head. And the world is a better place. Yay!
Here's a couple of pages from Scott McCloud's book which I find very helpful when figuring out expressions. Facial expressions are less overwhelming when you realize that they're made from basic "primary" expressions. Think of it like mixing colors; at the end you'll have a whole rainbow of emotions you can show on a character's face.

Yeah, unfortunately you do need to understand human expressions before you can "translate" them to Papyrus or another non-human character.
