Oh thanks...yeah I have used it
I found it easier to get around then gimp but gimp has a lot of power
I found with paint net you end up looking for a lot of add ons
but still quite a useful programs.
I used both and would save in a common ps format (add on for paint net at the time)

i also use photobie,it really good,its got a bunch of photoshop filters.

How well it works no idea, seems it may have been an abandoned program

Be advised thought you better check out how it works as it seems with gimp installs you have to clear them out before installing.
So I'd do some research before installing either of these two
Gimp current is at version 2.6.6
(the above use older installs of gimp package from what I read)
Anyway if you got it installed check out the dodge tool
