depends on the version:

Version 1.1: the ponies only walks in little windows,chase your cursor and walks only in the desktop, not in the screen.

Version 1.5: the same of the version 1.1.

Version 1.33: the ponies interact with each other, walk/fly around the screen, the ponies can be edited or created.

I recommend the version 1.33

they talk randomly, like my filly rarity now. i don´t know when she will talk.
