Description My first completed vector, based on this [link] image of my OC from GeneralZoi's Pony Creator.

Minor Edit: I apparently screwed up my eye color in the original, so I fixed it.

Wow! Awesome job! I just went over it with a fine tooth comb (same way I look at my vectors), and I couldn't find any problems with it. Your lines all line up, not seeing any sharp angles (except where there should be), and your lines look to be of consistent thickness.
I'd have to say your first attempt at vectoring was much more successful than mine! I look forward to seeing what else you end up doing.
BTW, what do you think of vectoring now that you've gotten your first crack at it?

Thanks, I'm glad it's as good as I was hoping. Vectoring seems quite a bit easier to me than I was expecting, honestly, but I think it helps that I took my time, and fussed over a lot of small things (the stripe in her mane and tail was beyond aggravating) to make sure it came out right. I'm actually amazed at how quickly I was able to get it done too, I pretty much started working on it the day after you linked me to Inkscape, and I finished it last night. I'll probably find some more things to trace, to get a better grasp of different body sizes and shapes and poses, then I might try to make something entirely new. I think the hardest part of all this for me really was just getting used to Inkscape's controls, since the tutorial I watched was for Photoshop, but the concepts didn't change so it was just a matter of figuring out how to go about doing them in Inkscape.
