Description I never watermark things but just in case I want to actually go through with this in the future I figured I should.

Still not all that happy with the last guy's design - it's likely I'll fiddle with it more. The other two will likely stay the same though.

These guys are based on a dream I had where they were in a video game! But it's not a real game and my brain was like "you should fix that" so uhhhhh yeah just working on some stuff. I have 0 experience in coding and 0 experience in game design so it's unlikely this will go anywhere for a long while.

All I know 100% for sure is that I want it to be a side scrolling action platformer with some kind of interesting plot. I haven't totally figured out the plot yet - I do have some ideas but nothing concrete. I've more been thinking of gameplay mechanics than anything.

Also, this is deviation 1000 for me!! Yeah for quadruple digits

Hey um sorta of randon question? I don't think I've seen you draw water in any of your recent artwork, but do you have a method or tips on drawing water details?

I'm honestly not all that good at water |D All I can say is use a reference, 100%. Find water doing what you want, and use that for a guide.Β 


this is pretty old, but here's some I did. I wanted still water, so I looked at some pictures to see how reflections generally work and went from there. The ripple is a photoshop filter with some extra contrast added over top.

Yeah, they're shapeshifters! I haven't totally decided how I want that to work yet though - I just know they all get different abilities to go with the animal forms.
