Drom posable dragon tutorial now in an easy to read and download formatI figured since DA now handles PDF files it was high time I transferred this over for everyone to enjoy without all the annoying tumblr backwards scrolling.

Wow, I'm surprised this doesn't have more attention! I love that the techniques are pretty unique from what I've seen in the art doll community; beautiful job! If I may ask, how did you get the foam so smooth? I have done some foam sculpting and it always comes out kind of pitted and bumpy

did you ever try to use shaving razors? I hear you can use them too for smoothing down the last bits

Do you mean like safty razors or those scary blade ones "real" men use?
Either way, no I have not, but I really sure. Its worth a try for sure!

no no just the regular cheap ones You should try them out im gonna do so myself next time i work with upholstery foam, it sounds very promising

Very nice tutorial! Its very well explained, and the pictures show what you are explaining. I also love how your Drom turned out! Very beautiful. Might have to give it a try sometime.
