me and my brothers have autism (rare for a girl to have it, but here I am) and I do get bullied for it and it really annoys me when people call others 'autistic'

THANK YOU
So many people will just casually label me a psychopath(which is why I don't tell people IRL that I'm autistic)

Say that to KreamyCittens297, she really thinks like that.

I so agree with this stamp. I'm more sociable and friendly to everyone at my college. I used to scream loudly at my high school when I get frustrated, but that doesn't make me a psychopath.

Lol obviously.
Autistic people are normal except for a bit of social ineptness (In my opinion anyway...)

its sociopath's you have to look out for >.> lol jk

Reminds me of an old name for Asbergers, 'Autistic Psychopathy'. Ridiculous how some people instantly assume something that isn't true.

Thank you so much for making this!

I'm an Asbie, I hate that people assume we're all like the stereotypes in movies.

Yes I have autism, yes I have anger/anxiety issues, yes Temple Garadin is one of my heros.
No I do not obsess over watching cows, whistle Mozart every second, know the solution to every math problem, or shout that I'm not wearing underwear in the middle of a grocery store.

I LOL'd. This is just awesome. The rest of my family is aspie, and they talk about it so often it gets obnoxious, like "I'm sooo aspergers! LOL!"

Right. I'm on the spectrum, and I'm not a psychopath. Random, yes. Easily angered, yes. But a psychopath? Nah.

And frankly I doubt being random or easily angered are symptoms of autism as well; they're symptoms that you're thinking

I felt like commenting this:
I have an autistic/asperger's identical twin sister on DA, and I agree with this stamp. Why would they think of autistic people as psychopaths!?!? Hey, she sometimes drive me crazy, and I don't label her as a psychopath.

I've been trying to deal with her all my life. I mean, she has been talking some stuff about me on her journals, and it made users think that she's a troll.

She has also harassed some people because they post something explicit on DA and someone ended up finding our home address and post it up just to have my area block. I told her not to deal with stuff anymore and enjoy posting art. I felt embarrassed because of this. Her grammar sentence on talking is not as good as the ones that I'm typing right now.

Also, she would whine and cry whenever some stuff is going on such as a video game console gone glitchy, internet connection problems, etc. She would also hit herself or bang her head.

I feel very very sad, that she is making me angry. I also don't want her to make my mother angry either. I don't like to deal with her anymore with this, but I guess this is why God(sorry, if you're offended by the G-word)created people for the way they are.

I'm autistic too, but her's is much more severe than mine.

Also, thanks for sharing this and I feel sorry for you that your dad has autism. I hope you and your family are getting along, if not.

Wait. People mistake autistic people for psychopaths? Wow '-_- It irritated me enough when people would call autistic people retarded. Wow just wow.

Inspired by mistreatment I got when I was kept in the "special" section of elementary school, people acting like I was psycho when they were the psychos, and I was nicer than the other kids who wondered around and fussed as they pleased. I got a lot of misdiagnosis before people decided I wasn't psycho OR autistic. Also, my dad first excused his jackassery and abuse on his Depression, tempting me to make a "Depressive =/= Psychopath" stamp as well, and now since an online test and winning an official diagnosis as having Aspergers; basically, on a daily basis either he or my mom will say that my dad did something because he was aspergers and didn't understand how it would come off as violent or stupid or whatever. He took me to the dentist once and I got questioned about whether or not I was Bulimic and they didn't believe me when I said no (I have hardcore gastric problems and don't purposely throw up and haven't thrown up more than a quarter teaspoon in like a decade, despite what people assume) and he implied to my dentist and his helper that I was Bulimic, complete with disgusting reinactments of leaning over the sink that was in the room and making gagging noises while putting his finger down his throat, shit I've never done nor discussed doing, I guess all because my mom didn't take me that day. I am already constantly battling sexist shit about eating disorders from all my docs due to my severe intestinal problems and many doctors visits. He will excuse himself with any other conditions that are present if he can't make shit up and calling it a mental disorder that some people actually have for real. I wanna end this rant by stating that the only truly autistic person I've ever really known is my brother, and he's the sweetest, most clever, most concerned and friendly creature ever, who is an angel considering how angry he could be all the time. By the way, my dad refers to my brothers' diagnosis collectively as "retarded" and "retardation."

I love your icon by the way. Would be better if the static part looked more like the "default" icon.

Well your dad sounds lovely '-_-. I know an autistic girl. She IS really sweet, but nobody gives her the time of day because she's "retarded". It pisses me off because she tries as hard as she can to make friends, but no. Just because she's a little different.

Thanks. I didn't make the icon, but I thought it was funny.

Thank you so much.
My nephew...my godson...has PDD, a form of Autism.
This is a pic of him. [link]
I would like to request that you make another stamp like this, with the word "retarded" in place of "psychopath".
It sickens me to think of using that word now....how could I have been so ignorant and uncaring?
I have sworn to NEVER use the word "retarded" to insult a person EVER again.
Knowing my nephew has made me a better person.
Please, if you do a stamp like that, send me a link.
I promise to fave and get as much exposure for it as I can.

Again...from the bottom of my heart to the tip of my tiny pointed head...thank you.

I agree with the message. But my brother had autism, and he's been known to do extremely violent things on impulses...punching a guy into a wall for making a loud noise isn't psychopathic, it's impulsive. Cutting someone to ribbons and storing it in your fridge is psychopathic...
