Yeah...I'm just bored and tweaking this. I don't know if I'm done or not.
I wanted her to appear more sad straight out, because going through the contest entries I noticed how some people's faces didn't show emotion quite enough and I was worried mine might be the same.

I added the bird XD I don't know, it just needed something else in the picture. Stock credit added down with the rest.
I thought it gave it a Lost and Delirious feel to it, for those of you who've seen it.

This is my entry for =arrsistable 's Emotions Contest under the emotion of grief.
Her friend or partner or sister or whoever you so choose the hanging girl to be (I leave that to you) has committed suicide. And she feels the unbearable grief weighing down on her.
Not the back story in my head but I wanted you more to fill it in really for yourself after those key points.
It took me a while to do this, I couldn't get my mind to focus on any one idea long enough to put it into physical portrayal...but I'm honestly quite proud of the outcome. Unoriginal title though -.-
I've been wanting to use this girl's picture for the longest time, I'm glad now that I have that it's something I'm proud of rather than some of the utter crap I've been making lately (trashed them all, they were never posted).

The concept is flawless however there are a couple technical issues that need to be resolved. First, the layers are not convincing and everythinglooks sort of artifical. The crops are imperfect as well. The composition works well but their is no sense of depth. Add shadows. The textured wall looks cheesy as well. But great concept. 7/10

I've had the full intention to change the wall for ages but I've never gotten around to it. Really this is no where near done, it's a living breathing piece that is constantly changing and I don't think I'll ever be done with it.

This is amazing.
Only thing is the background, I kinda wish they could be swapped. The background for the girl was a sunny day and the photo coulda been a fabricy-staticy background.
But still hawt

Well the background for the girl in front was because she's the one feeling grief. Er...well, they both were, obviously, happy people don't kill themselves XD But you know what I mean. The girl in the frame/out the window/whatever killed her self on a nice day because she wanted to leave on a semi-good note, rather than a bad one. She had a good day, as good as it gets for someone suicidal, and she wanted to leave with that memory rather than one of her more upsetting ones.
Yeah, I had this whole story in my head.
