I love this character, the green skin especially is brilliant to his design. It helps emphesize that he practices a kind of magic differently that others. He is a really awesome looking guy, and I love that thing-monster-beast next to him!

with your color choices it could have gotten gaudy but you have just the right amount of green to make it a focal point and not a distraction from the harmony of the piece. The reptilian creature looks great with obvious attention to anatomical detail ( I would like one as a pet). I also like the way you did the guy's face. I get tired of seeing guys on DA depicted with boyish or feminine faces. This guy looks like a male!

Hahaha, Greenpeace. 
On another note, I don't know that I dislike anything about this painting; the creature has a relatively simple but still imaginative and somehow believable design, the clothing on the main character is fitting, the background is appropriately desolate, and I love the spell, which is subtle but powerful. Fantastic.

well, it was something like an inner joke - when painting this work, I laughed that this guy fights against drying-out of wetlands and swamps, for the protection of magic creatures.
If speaking seriously - I would like it to be truth.
