Description
This was for my pirate-themed pencil auction that I had on Gaia. I tried for less of a pillaging pirate than an odd historian-cum-pirate who likes collecting rare objects rather than gold... more of a navigator sort. He is Merlin, one of the creators of story itself, helping Ebony Black - who is really Snow White - discover what's out in the inky darkness beyond Happily Ever After. The doodad on his shoulder is a Book Wyrm.This is the last illustration piece I will be doing until I reach 10k. You will see why, soon. I've got a good surprise coming up.

Book Wyrm...hahahaha...man i've got to get out of the house more. Seriously though, i can't beleive i missed this picture. I like the idea of something other than a pillaging pirate and you seem to have pulled it off well in his attidude and clothing. aha, clothing, durrrr, awsome costume design.

But no, actually. I hadn't really noticed anything different. XD; I just ... keep doing pencil stuff. I'm satisfied with shading, so I'm trying to work on anatomy and interest poses now.

Lol. Six hours is my average for a waistup, so 8 ort so is average for a fullbody. The anatomy sketch usually takes 1 hour alone. It takes me 2/3 hours to ink a fullbody, too. But I haven't inked in awhile, lol. But, yeah, I'm SLOWLIEKBUTT.

X3 Thank you. His duster is mid grey-blue, his tunic is navy blue. Both are trimmed in gold. His shirt is cream and his pants are tan, and his boots are a dark umber. His skin is pale and his hair is white. And his hat is just like jack Sparrow's. XD
COlor designing in my head helps with my tonage.
