This is a BENCHMARK redux!
The original was the first drawing I did in 2019 and I promised myself to practice not just lineless but backgrounds too. I think I'm proud with how far I've come since! I'm SO much more happy with my style and how much "easier" it felt to attempt this. I see this as proof that if you keep working on something, you will make progress! And as a benchmark piece, I hope to redo this again in a few years just to see where I'm at then. Always more to learn! :3 I'm still learning how to properly draw water, but it's been slow. MerMay has been helpful though. ANYWAY! Using a better art program and being more crafty with custom brushes and textures also really amped up the scene, imo. As I always say, "Work smart, not hard!"
