I actually like the Hulk because he's a very cool green superhero. I used to be scared of the thing because he was a rock guy & I was frightened by things that look like humans but aren't.

When I was a litttle kid I found a copy of this issue at a flea market and must have read it 800 times! The Thing fights the Hulk! How cool is that? I also found the issues before and after so I had the whole story. Years later I upgraded to better copies.

I was 9 when I saw this as a new issue on the stands. I didn't buy many comics as a kid but I knew I had to get this one - it turned out to be one of my all-time favorites.
