Silver is 17 in this arc along with Crystal and Gold.
Story:
Silver gets dragged to Sango Islands by Gold and Crystal to help their senior Yellow defeat Team Cobra. The Johto trio went their separate ways from the main gang to ev train but when Gold never came back Crystal and Silver get stuck trying to find him. Specialjewel moments happen during their side quest to find Gold. Silver teams up with Crystal to face off against Cobra Commander Boa the grass/poison type expert of Team Cobra and barely make it out alive. When Silver and Crystal reach the nearest pokemon center they see Gold with getting all flirty with another girl in which Crystal get jealous. Silver calms her down and tells Crystal they'll get back at him for making them go through an adventure to find him. Crystal agrees and the Johto trio continue their journey with the mysterious girl Gold brought along.
