My fan-evolution chart for the newly revealed generation 6 Fire-Starter Pokemon, Fennekin.
the made up names for the first and second evolution are:
Kodios (Ko (Japanese for Fox)-Dios (Spanish for "God") An interesting little trait I wanted to establish was that Kodios is a god-in-progress esentially. The floating stones show the japanese symbol for "Fire", and as Fennekin's 2nd form, I gave Kodios an additional tail, and additional 'wing' of fur on the hind legs.
and Kitsudios (Kitsune (A Mythical shape-shifting creature that natively takes the form of a fox)-Dios (Spanish for "God"). For Kitsudios I wanted to establish a full-fledged transformation, eyes paled out with divine energy, a dominant mane, and an additional tail and hind-leg 'wing' of fur. I also wanted to make it clear that the floating stones were fully established as relics for Kitsudios. The 4 Symbols mean Fire, Strength, Courage and Wisdom.

And the evolutions are based off Kitsunes, which are Japanese myths. Sure, it looks good, but if Fennekin were the Generation IV fire-type starter instead of Chimchar it would fit better.

Don't count on it. I mean, really. Tepig, IMO, is the cutest Unova starter, but look what they did to its evolutions. I mean, really! They made such a cute Pokemon turn into an ugly fat thing! And that's why I chose Snivy... Anyways, if they make it an anthro and a fighting type, I will officially quit playing new Pokemon games.
