Back in January, I made the impulsive decision to join a trip that was being organized through my college's outdoor club. The destination: Reykjavik, Iceland. I've never been to Iceland, and in any case, the prospect was a welcome and exciting one. We were in Iceland for four days, and I have to say that they were four of the most magical days of my life. I thought that surely I had fallen into a dream. Everything that I saw while I was there felt unreal and otherworldly, verging on downright ethereal. It was so unlike anything I had ever seen prior, and filled me with wonder. It's such a beautiful country, and I still can't believe that I went. As can be imagined, I took LOTS of pictures, but haven't gotten around to submitting my favorite ones to DA until... well... now. Oops?
