Cécile was born as a first child in France. She was born within a higher end of a middle class family—they are not exactly a rich family, but they were not poor either. Cécile inherited her father’s talkativeness and friendliness, she was very active in classes and easy to befriend with anyone. It needed a short time for her to be crowned as a social butterfly in her school.

Cécile had a very normal life, until at the age of 10. It happened when she was going to pick a book on the highest bookshelf in her room. She stood up on a stool, however, due to her petite figure, her little hand still could not reach the book. Daringly she tried to jump to retrieve it, but instead of landing again, she stayed still in the air. She went panicked and screamed for help. Her parents were dumbfounded of what had happened, and strange things like this kept happening to Cécile. She found herself floating in the air when sleeping, jumped really high, or sometimes weighed less than she should be. This made her parents to realize something: their daughter possessed a magic of gravity.

Cécile was aware very well that magic was considered as a crime in society, so she and her family agreed to hide this fact from anyone. She realized that she could not control her power, so she started to learn practicing her magic secretly for years. However, with strange things happened on her, as well as her status as a social butterfly, a rumor about her started to spread. A group of students wanted to test this rumor to be true and confronted Cécile. They knew the girl was known to be bravely to say ‘no’ to anyone, so they took her little brother. The blond girl had no choice but to fulfill their request, but she tried to show her magic as little as possible by floating in the air. But they asked for more, and hurt her brother for it. He broke into tears and Cécile went raged, she thrown and slammed them hard onto the ground. “Witch! Cécile Eilir Durand is a witch!” And since then, the rumor turned into an inevitable fact.

Cécile faced a danger of a prison for life. Many of her friends kept supporting her, but most of them opposed her, turned their backs on her as they didn’t want to be involved with a criminal. She was chased by law people to put her on jail for the rest of her life, and she didn’t want that. She was not at fault—she had this power and she didn’t misuse it. Magic was a gift, not a curse, and how could most people were blind about this? This was the point of where her seeds of hatred against stereotype grew.

Cécile realized that if she kept close with her family,they would be involved in danger. She decided to set off and fled as far as she could. Bidding her farewell to her family which she might not see anymore, she went far away from her pursuers as a fugitive. It was when she heard a rumor of a train which brought its passengers to another world, and she decided to give it a try. She boarded into the World Train, with one thing as a reminder: not everyone is a true friend of someone.

"Thank you..." she lowly said and enveloped herself with the dark material. The young adult then asked her what she was doing, and she looked around restlessly. "I'm worried about my friends...." she said, her eyebrows made upward curves as she answered. "I’m scared......They can die anytime."

If only her friend wasn't there, she probably had been hit and thrown off to the ground. The taller human's interference towards the enemy's attack was very helpful, and gave her time to step back for safety. She took a few icicles on the ground, and released them on air, floating. They could serve as backup projectiles if needed.
