Description
Finally, after many days of concept art, (which I will upload later)I can finally reveal my new character. ^^
I tried something a bit different, an animal which I haven't dealt with before. A golden conure. This character was originally going to be a pigeon actually xD , but after seeing some photos and videos of this beautiful animal, I just couldn't resist. :3
He will have a full ref and bio up sometime, but this'll do for now.
Buck belongs to me! Don't steal!

I have a Gonden Conure called Konori, and she is lovely and very smart. She absolutely LOVES everyone, and is the type of bird that will follow you forever. The Golden Conure is that loyal, even more than Blu to Linda.
You could have chosen the pigeon (and it would be a nice choice), but I'm happy you chosed the Ararajuba (the popular name here in Brazil). Is the most loyal, funny and beautiful bird in the world.

I know what you mean. I like cats too, but I live in a house that have all it's natural enemies: Namely: dogs, birds and fishies.
Well, I really can't argue so much... I really love all my pets...

I've never really drawn birds since many years ago when I was a lil kid, so I need some more practising too, and specially to get them to look like they could be in the Rio movie.
I hope Pyrites owner will allow some form of collab with Buck sometime, that would be great ^^

Oh and I have a RIO oc of my own too, Poppy, she's a black headed qaique but I have just made a tiny sketch of her so far, and two more "realistic" sketches of a qaique to learn how the look to make it easier to "rio-fy" her xD
