Description
*Please see full view!!!!!*Okay, this is my second attempt at real photmanipulation, as opposed to just filters and such through Photoshop. Basically I did this because my conception of surrealism is apparently very different from most people on dA ... One of my favorite surreal photographs is from a Dreamtheater album and it's a living room, but instead of carpet, it has sand, with a lovely sand castle in the center. And it looks perfect - like someone had built a sandcastle in their living room.
Anyway ... I know this sucks ass. It should probably be in the Scraps section, except no one looks at scraps, and I'd really, really like some feedback on how to make this look better. Any genius deviants with mad photomanip skills who care to share with me ideas and techniques for making this actually look good ... please PLEASE do. I'd appreciate it so much.
So ...

It's quite cool, but I was attracted by the corridor thing by itself, I like repitition.
Good idea though

Oh, funky! I like the grass coming out of the doorways closer to the bottom of the image.

OH! The title of this deviation made me think of this
New Mother Nature
The Guess Who
Jocko says "Yes," and I believe him
When we talk about the things I say
She hasn’t got the faith or the guts to leave him
When they’re standing in each other’s way
You’re tripping back now to places you’ve been to
You wonder what you’re gonna find
You know you’ve been wrong but it won’t be long
Before you leave ‘em all far behind
‘Cause it’s the new Mother Nature taking over
It’s the new Splendid lady come to call
It’s the new Mother Nature taking over
She’s gettin’ us all
She’s gettin’ us all.
Jocko said "No," when I came back last time
It’s looking like I lost a friend
No use callin’ ‘cause the sky is fallin’
And I’m getting pretty near the end
A smoke-filled room in a corner basement
The situation must be right
A bag of goodies and a bottle of wine
We’re gonna get it on right tonight
‘Cause it’s the new Mother Nature taking over
It’s the new Splendid Lady come to call
It’s the new Mother Nature taking over
She’s gettin’ us all
She’s getting’ us all...

Wow. Very interesting. I would never think to do this, and I think it turned out very well!
One critique that I can think of at the moment is that you should soften the lines of the ceiling windows... if the light coming through was really as bright as it appears on the walls, then it would be a good effect to soften those window lines.
But I'm not very good at photoshop, though. I'm still learning. And I don't have the patience to just sit down and work at it.

Well, the ceiling windows were really flourescent light, so the light was fairly bright ... But thanks for the suggestion about softening the lines ... I'll have to try it and see the difference ...
