I began this randomly yesterday.. and finished sculpting it at 3:40 am e____e.The Border collie has been baked and painted with a base coat of grey.
I'm really happy with this. Especially since I've never really created a large sculpture before this.
It was just a random whim that I started making this, so I may put him/her up for sale. (If you buy it, I'll paint it however you like)
I need a better camera. This hardly shows any detail-- like the nose and eyelids.

It's Super Sculpey, which is a polymer clay. Ooh, I've never worked with porcelain. I'd love to someday! :3

Nicely done! I tend to take pictures on a cloudy day or early morning and use a tripod to keep the image steady. That way I get the detail to come out. It also helps to put a towel or piece of fabric behind the model so that the camera focus's on just the sculpt.

We've had a lot of cloudy weather, but it's also very windy. Would a tripod be able to capture such a small thing on ground level?

I'd suggest a table, although I've seen several people take pictures of them in grass. I'm just saying direct sunlight will cause a lot of glare. If it's slightly overcast, that's the best kind of light. Windy is not a good thing, because if the figurine is vibrating from it, it'll blur. If your camera has an automatic countdown for pictures, go ahead and use it. Just pressing a button can cause a small image to blur. But if you have to, press it gently.

Thankyou <3! And I was actually worried about the tail before I baked it... The "feathering" was very thin, and I feared it would break or burn in the oven. I was surprised when it came out just fine!

Just FYI: WildSpiritWolf charges $31 for non-complex Chars, and that covers shipping and all. 
But yeah. This is absolutely STUNNING. The anatomy and everything is simply gorgeous. If Chloe doesn't buy it for me, I'd be interested in buying it myself, or commissioning a Dobe one!

I was actually going off of my border collie, who doesn't have much feathering on her back legs.
But yeah xD. I actually ran out of clay to work with, otherwise I would've added feathering.
I'll consider trying commissions :3. I still have to figure out prices and shipping costs.
