Description
Creative title is creative, a long overdue commission for the lovely noebelle / banjaxe Β , always a pleasure to draw her gorgeous characters! Finally got SAI installed on my new computer so next ill be finishing art fight replies and uploading them here in an art dump
This probably took about 20-25 hours spread out? I honestly probably could have put 10 more into it but I'm happy with where it was so decided to upload it as is. I'll hopefully be getting back in the groove and I've started streaming again! I'm trying out twitch as I have a lot of friends who stream there who have been pushing me to try it out/want to host me so well see how it goes

I love Asian culture, especially Japanese and Chinese
and you've captured all of that beauty in this artwork.
It is so peaceful and cheerful; it relaxes the eyes a lot.
You've used beautiful and vibrant, contrasting colors that
complement it even more.
In terms of perspective and anatomy, it's perfect. The lion
spirit, the koi pond, the torii gate,...they all look incredible
and the creature is magnificent. I like the scale details and
the whiskers on it and it represents the myth that the koi
fish turn into dragons. It's a beautiful depiction.
On the negative side, only the water surface could use some
texture or reflections. Since it's peaceful I assume there's no
wind, therefor the water's surface should reflect its surroundings.
Other than that, it's a remarkable piece of art! Well done! Keep
it up!

I love the deep, peaceful atmosphere here, I feel like I can smell the pond and hear the little bubbles at the surface. The way Solao's pelt glitters in the sun is beautiful. Gorgeous artwork!
