Description Two Celtic daggers crossed against a bejeweled round shield (the shield is an adaptation of a previous design). The daggers are a matched pair with knotwork etching up the blades and across the quillons. The handles are also wrapped in leather-looking Celtic knotwork. A huge diamond-shaped green emerald finishes each piece.

beautiful reminds me of all the stories I love about the area. Makes me want to strap on a sword and go adventuring.

This is beauiful, emerald is my birth stone, and I love the mix of different stuff you have here, swords, celtic knots, and emeralds. I love it!

A nice addition to your shield design. It could make for one hell of a stained glass window.

Thanks so much! I'd never thought of that, but I do want to learn stained glass some day...

My wife wants to learn it as well... we've done a "fake" stained glass window before (bought black piping and coloured dyes that were then used on a plastic covering so that it could be taken back off if need be) but it'd be cool to actually work with the real deal.

Hm, definitely some neat stuff. Y'know, I never even think to look for stuff like that on here, then I see it and wonder why I'm surprised. Art comes in all forms, after all.

Thanks so much! I hand drew the basic design and all the knotwork, scanned it in, and then, basically, did all the coloring and shading in photoshop (6).
