First, thanks for one hundred of faves!!!
And second, I see you tried FFExplorer. I was going to recommend it to you.
In all my fractals with FFExplorer, in the description, there is a summary of the parameters I used for that fractal. You can use those data as starting point to create new fractals. Begin with a "new canvas of type..." and in the "Parameters tool" introduce the data in my parameters info.
It is possible to render images at 4k resolution, but you need to contact the author, through email or Facebook and he could get you a key to register the program (it is free) than unblock high resolution render.

Thanks so much for the information! I have no idea how to use FFEXplorer so I can use all the information and help that I can get. I really appreciate it. Do I copy and paste your parameters into FFExplorer to start creating?
Thanks also for letting me know how to render at a higher resolution. I was wondering how that is done. I saw you rendered at larger sizes and I wasn't able to. So I will try to contact him.

No, it is not possible to copy and paste my parameters info. They are just clues for people interested in how that fractal is made, but they are not the complete parameters.
Go to View> Parameters tool, and there introduce by hand the information on my description. Then, in View>Edit Form, you can add the Colouring type, but the rest of the information is missing. You must choose your own palette, orbit trap if you want, etc.
Have fun!

Cool! Thanks very much for the information! I look forward to trying that. I also emailed the address on the Fractal Fun Project website asking if I could get the key to unlock the high-resolution feature of the software. I hope he responds because I would like to make bigger images.

I look forward for your new fractals with this software.
The author of the software is very approachable so you can ask him doubts, make suggestions for the software, report bugs, etc. You can ask me through DA too.
There are other people who make fractals with FFExplorer or ExploradorFF (the old name of this same software):
You can check Elensegu 's gallery. She has a blog too , with more fractals imagenesfractales.wordpress.co… I think all her fractals in these two pages are made with FFExplorer or ExploradorFF.
Another person who has beautiful fractals made with this software is Ranvaig Ragnarson. She has a FFExplorer album in her Facebook page. It is very easy to find.

Thanks for the offer of help. The author of the software gave me the key so I can render in 4K. He's very friendly. It's a small world because the day before I emailed him he added me as a friend on Facebook and I had no idea he was the author of FFExplorer! It's an interesting coincidence.
Thanks for the links to the fractal art pages. I went to look at them and they are beautiful. I saved them to my bookmarks.

Well, it was not a coincidence. I chat almost every day with the author of this software. The reason he added you as a friend in Facebook was because he had seen the fractal you did with FFE.
Good luck with your new fractals!

Hey I saw this in my DA "front page" that comes up before I click on my ID, it's set to "Popular 24 hours". Nice!! And ty for the link to FFExplorer.

Thank you! Yes; FFExplorer is software that I've only used once. There is a tutorial included in the files. I need to read it. I was just messing around with it yesterday without reading the tutorial, but after I read it I'm sure I will be able to do more with it. I made another fractal with it but I don't like it as much as this one, so I won't post it. If you make any fractals with it, I'd love to see them!

If I do, I'll be happy to show you! The different fractal programs definitely have different styles don't they?

You aren't going to get bored for a looooong time! You've probably found most or all of these but I swiped a list from and updated it a little bit:

Oh yes. I've heard of those and more. There are more on this website: fractalarts.com/ASF/Fractal_So… and this website: fractalfoundation.org/resource…
I don't want to forget about Chaoscope - it's pretty fun, too. www.chaoscope.org/index.htm It makes strange attractors.
The ones I'm most interested in trying are Jux and Ultra Fractal.

Wow thanks for the links! Rather than reinventing the wheel I think I'll post them to my facebook group.
I think I'm going to try to go a little deeper into JWF before I try out other software. That way I'll maybe have sort of a map for exploring other software.
"strange attractors"... There's room here for a dopey pun about dating on DA... :-P
