Damn this is sweet. Have you ever thought about doing any jewellery design? I think you would be very good at it.

In the small view it looks like there's a person worked into it. I like it. The shading is definately well done.

Hey This is just pen and crosshatching... the fun thing is, whenever I make a mistake line, it's hidden in a bunch of other lines or I can use those mistakes to form new sections. So that's how I do this... by making a bunch of mistakes
Thanks for the comment!

Looks cool, perhaps you should keep with the current image, and just do a dizzy winding metal pipe type image. I dunno, let it take you wherever your mind goes as it comes out.

I would definitely finish this piece. It has great form and functionality. The crosshatching is superb and has the begging elements of great composition if it were finished. Love the uniqueness of it.

I think I agree with Jett... consider exploring these ideas further in a new, seperate piece. You've used nice shading and an interesting combination of forms to render an abstract that is strong compositionally and has a good dynamic range. The hints of angular order are just enough to throw the organic, flowing lines into focus, and provide spiritual as well as compositional counterpoint.
It reminds me of a large heart, touched by Giger. More of a place, though, than an object.

Yeah, this might be a little played out... and sketch work, especially from live models is sooo much fun. Thanks for your comments on this piece... and I love that you mentioned that it's more a place than an object, because that's how it seems to me too. Thanks for the wonderful comments... I'm looking forward to your next upload.

this is some piece. I can't tell you where to end this---you have to really look into it and see where (if anywhere) this is telling to to go or halt. What you have there is real fine---nice work.

it almost looks like a musical instrument, where the flat area at the bottom right is a keyboard and the other parts emit sound...
i love the shape and balance!
