I haven't made a spiral in so long, I thought I had forgotten how. Not so.

Gently falling,
it's the first,
or perhaps the last.
It falls in a burst
of chill and cold
biting winds blow.
My world sleeps,
time stops its flow
and ebbs to a halt.
Skies above overcast,
as first snowflake falls,
or perhaps the last.
