(German: Flood Light)This is a staircase in the new Students Center at UCC (University College Cork, Ireland)
Had to mirror it in PS because one of the lights was broken
(added the unmirrored Original into my Scraps)

I love what you've done for this image, the symmetry is beautiful and I love the contrast of light and dark. There's a very abstract feel to this and a sort of out-of-this-world feel, like a scene out of a surreal scifi flick or something. I totally dig it!

schaut genial aus - eigentlich recht unwirklich (sprich nicht real), aber ich kann mr schon vorstellen, dass das perfekt zu einer Uni passt
eine etwas "dunkle Stimmung", aber gerade das macht das Foto aus!

gerne! ich finde solche Gebauede echt klasse - arbeite selbst in so einem "Glashaus"
und fuer Unis passt das ganze noch viel besser....

ANYWAY (sorry!) I love this shot soo much, it is very very impressive!
I agree that the mirroring is effective and necessary - because of the symmetry, but also because the handrail looks better thicker once mirrored.
I love the tones and colours, the shadows everywhere (particulary the ones going down the stairs), the straight lines help this feel clean and crisp and no nonsense. This does feel like something *coxi would do
