Today I took a walk to the lake. This is the furthest I've yet gone from the city, and the closest so far I've gotten to the Great Edges.(amateur matte "painting." uncountable hours of experimenting. additional photos provided by various flickr users under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License. i hope that's how you do it. please do not sue me.)

thank yew greatly! it was my goal to create a lost and decommissioned-looking place beneath the coat of winter and the shadow of a more ominous working. all in all aiming to create a feel of somewhat drastic, yet accepted change in apocalyptic conditions. glad to see it worked out in the end. i might do a second part to this too, so keep an eye out if you're interested!
