Description
I am only something when I am nothing:cavernous-empty-soulless-
hollowed.
Unreal-
This fragile shell of skin
stretched.parched in patches over spongy bone.
There is emptiness within,
more honest.solid than all my physical layers:
stringy tendons.rivers of blood.coursing in
gem-drops of ruby
so sure, as
bursting stiffly.unstoppable.slicing numbly
shell-soft over pointed fingertips,
hopeless claws are freed
from fleshy prisons.
Plunge them.frantic.in violation,
dip between the taught tendons
of your white-rope wrists,
find the source-
drown in it your own blood.
When it is all you see
taste.feel.dream.desire-
inexorable emptiness,
creating something whole
from shattered fragments,
blurring your edges,
eroding your soul
erasing your heart.mind.body
melting you:
and the nothing is what you are.
don't want to disappear-can't bear
to be real-need kind.darkness
satin sheets of blackness
sweet sharp hook to tear from me
my cursed breathing.beating.living
so I can be
hollowed.

i really love the pacing here. each beautifully selected word leads so logically into the next, but that does not compromise the emotion within the piece.

Your flow in this was so unique. It felt like stumbling, but in a graceful way, if that makes any sense at all. Gorgeous descriptions. My personal favourite was,
