being in detroit the place is a homeless haven. most of the grafitti inside was "catfish was here, 10 years and still alive"...catfish was a homeless guy who apparently lived in the building for over 10 years. he'd hang out with explorers and others who came wandering through the building, smoke weed with them etc. kids loved him hahha. so he may have been the one to write it. catfish ended up getting a job at a quickymart and returned to society.

me too, i asked my friend what happened to him, which is how i found out about the quickymart bit. i thought of suggesting we go there to get drinks after but for some reason i didn't. seems the guy is 50+ years old, from some of his grafitti. birthday wishes and such.
