Description Taken for photography class.
Besides the fact that the background is a 'unifying' element, I also tried to make this look like a Japanese coin.

Instructions:
"Working somewhere on the SHSU campus, seek out and photograph geometric shapes. The photographs should have some unifying element in their design that would allow them to be presented side by side, as one piece."

I like a very this work. Te more of the time people
don't watch over where walking. And every floor or ground has it history. You take the initiative I was a longer to make in my city. How many pages can any one from this round cast iron pieces can tell.
Photomanipulation? Just for the arrangement from the captures, in my concept.
Great idea.
Congratulations !
Thanks a lot for the visiting !

I really like this one. The edges are pieced together very well. But it also really reminds me of a "go yen" (I may very well have butchered that) piece my dad brought back with him from Japan when I was little. Ten points for nostalgia!

It reminded me of one of those as well.

This is an amazing photo. The elements you used are amazing, and the side-by-side design you used is astounding! Great job!

Having worked with tripod arrangement, even as briefly as I did, I have to admire the sheer amount of patience it must have taken to set these shots up so the edges of the four different sections fit together so seamlessly.

Totally creative. Awesome. Cool. The only thing I would have done differently is the white spaces I would have left the ground in those slots. I really love it. Bravo

Nice take on road covers Alana, I wonder what the same image would look like greyscale and high key? might pop some of those patterns right out at you. I wish you well with this image in your class

Wow, talk about "art is where you find it..." My brother an attorney, once represented a foundry that cast these types of manhole and sewer covers. I was really impressed with the diversity represented in the artwork of the molds. Would you believe it, there are collectors around the world who treasure them for their historic as well as their aesthetic value. If you see one of value, keep a lid on it...
