But I have to agree with you-- they are a pain in the ass... If I had even just a penny for each of them I've raked in my lifetime...

Definitely easier to appreciate them when presented like this!

i think this is a good inspiration for a study of organics. would like a copy of this. and i agree w/ all of the above. it has a mood, an understanding to it. mechanical, and living.

Very spiky. I'd hate to step on one.

The photo is great. The lighting is very intense but much detail and texture is well preserved. The focus is sharp and the subject very organically interesting.
