I love the simple complexities, perspective, and color of this image. One has to wonder how you get the subject to stay in place? If I had tried that I would have missed the shot. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/l/l⦠" width="19" height="21" alt="
" title="Laughing my ass off!"/> Your work is amazing, and this image is further proof of your skills as an artist. Your unique perspective on life breathes energy and fun into everything you capture on film. Also, the faded water in the background makes this little dragonfly jump off the film, and the red color on his wings immediately draws you to him. Your work is simply amazing and I look forward to seeing many more images from you.

I was so surprised it stayed around awhile as well! I was walking around in the water trying not to fall and kill my camera. I had even scared it off, but it came back and stayed around for several hours!
Thank you so much!

You're very welcome, and I'm glad you didn't fall. I would miss you if you got hurt and couldn't post for awhile.

Actually, this damselfly stayed around for so long, and never got spooked when I came around.
It was luck I got so many shots of it.

I love the shadow coming from it. Those wings look wicked awesome too. The focus is just right as well. Your attention immediately goes strait to the insect.

Someone had just told me this weekend that that's what they were called, but I couldn't recall the name they had said. I just went with the safe name, haha.
