far from the open, there is rest. this glade of surreal -
this surreal of other than yesterday / tomorrow
a kiss is like the warm sun light the warm sun lights the
forest floor, kissesmore,. she is the ethereal green
and the slowly the sun goes down to sleep

I like the little lights you made in the trees, and how the little person seems hurrying to get to the magic hiding in there, and I like having some idea of how this looks outside of the computer (because having pieces of things like an inside joke makes me feel like I'm not, after all, a space oddity.)
Really, the only part of this picture I disagree with is the word "was." not was, is.
(and the picture is so lovely, and I saw it and went "oh!", and felt almost like I was going to the magic forest too.)

As I said, I have returned.
The most brilliant thing about this image is the way the trees flow into each other, branches embracing each other like silken arms... The lights in the distance, signifying that the place he is in now, is so infinite... subtle strokes of shadow about, that say, to me, that it's night. The melancholy of this piece is so beautiful. This is really one of the pieces on this art community that can make you cry when you look at it with the proper music. There are a lot of things to say about this piece that I like, but I will stick to the things that I find most amazing. The flow of the image, the continuity - it's perfect, natural, like it has always been here. It feels comfortingly melancholic, like the perfect metaphor for a sorrowful period in life.
Amazing art, this is, because it's so natural. An artist has a lot of trouble finding where to stop, to keep it so minimal. This is excellently balanced and kept to a minimum - which makes it hold a maximum of emotions. Great job, fave.
