no - they are assets I got from another blend file but they aren't very hard to make in Blender or ZBrush

Well, for someone who has no idea about both it still looks like hours of work.

I mean it. I have been pondering about how to get a ring build e.g. like Saturn rings. They consist of either dust or lots of small asteroid- things. As I have never build anything - I have no clue at all how to get this done. So building several asteroids, adding maps or at least fitting colors - is something way ahead of me. It is also cool to see them in an image like this.

if it was me, I'd use some sort of particle system in Blender with low poly rocks as the particles and bind them to a flat torus - either that or I'd use an ecosystem in Vue.  The advantage of Blender is it's free quite a learning curve though

Thanks for the suggestion how to start this! I downloaded Blender once and stared amazed at the tons of options not understanding at all what this is. So far I am still learning to find my way through DAZ. Not sure when I will manage and start building own stuff to render.

Blender is insanely powerful considering it's free! There are a ton of really good tutorials on YouTube and sites like www.blendernation.com/ as well.
Good luck!!
