Contest Entry for the Contest theme was "Darkness" with an emphasis on color, details, and returning Yami no Bakura to his "true" beauty (in whatever way that may be interpreted, without designing him as Thief King)

So.... I didn't want to be super cliche about it, but i wanted it to be sort of creepy. The squiggly things were actually inspired by Miyazaki's film Princess Mononoke and how he designed when the boar spirit was a demon. And everyone knows that I love portraying Bakura as a spirit or a demon (cause to me that's what he is). But it also helped me figure out how to... personify darkness? That's really what I was going for, almost like he's infested.

And the cards i drew myself, they just looked much more real when i sized them down 0.0 i was kinda surprised. And the ring, the wounds, and the hourglass had to be in there, because to appreciate Bakura's true beauty, part of it is his genius and his story line in the series. ^_^ I went a little deep with this one. And it turned out better than i thought it would.

And ZOMG i did lineart! 0.0 I SUCK! ^_^

Soooo, yeah... more cell-blocking... i really have nothing else to say about it. There are many other ways that I could have portrayed Bakura for this contest, but this is what happened. I have kinda been in a depressed/strange mood lately. I hope this is acceptable.
