I also prefer her over Waluigi but I will honestly be shocked if he doesn't turn out to be a playable character in this smash haha. Regardless I'm already super excited for the roster already!

I think it's honestly too late for Waluigi. He's already been revealed as an assist trophy NPC, a SSB fighter takes an entire year on average to make, (according to Sakurai) and the game is due out December.
So unless they delay the game another year, or remove Waluigi's assist before the game comes out, and offer him as DLC later, (assuming the game will have DLC) it's hard to say.
