I really loved your comic! It was well executed, well paced and great to read! I know a fan comic is a LOT of work but I hope you make more of these in the future. Did you write this story for this format or was it part of a fanfiction before you illustrated it?

Well... this was... simply beautiful. I always wondered what happened during those hours after Korra returned from the spirit world and everything started to settle in... the destruction and the sacrifices. I'm getting corny but this is amazing, seriously. Thanks for sharing.

It's amazingly corny, then. I read the fanfic after I read your comic and I loved it, it's not very often that I find a good Korrasami fanfic, most of them are, I don't know, not that good?... I'm kinda hoping now to see a Part 2 of this one

Yeah, I know what you mean. There are a few that are really really good ones though. Try the Seeking Balance series by SimplyKorra if you want something heavy with all the feels lol or Sato 22 if you want something that's like a romcom. It's so funny, I love it.

I loooooove the Seeking Balance series, for me it's the best Korrasami fic out there.
It's a great re imagining of the third-fourth seasons. I love that it has everything: smut, fluff, angst.

if you're into those kinds of fics try food fight, raava academy, its such a gorgeous night to see you in the middle of the night (long title i know lol), and sato 22 are like my favorites for like the fun kind.
the seeking balance series and not gone just lost are great for heavy stuff.

Wow, it was really great (I just created a deviantart profil to leave this comment)! I mean, I thought I had seen every bit of fanarts for Korrasami, but I didn't find this one piece until today, and it was really beautiful and sad and hopeful at the same time, so thank you for drawing and sharing it. I dunno if anyone already told you that, but the landscape and the pages with the portal are beautifully drawn too (and Asami & Korra too, especially how they move, I think)!

I just read your story and I have to say its fantastic.
And I can proudly say its the first LOK story I've read that wasn't terrible. What is it with good or decent shows having mostly terrible fan fictions associated with them but bad to flawed shows having better fan flics. usually.
I love your descriptive righting, both for character interactions and elaborating on the state of the city itself. they way you built an atmosphere of contrasting the choking smoke and devastation of war with a sweet intimate moment between Korra and Asami.
speaking of which I am so glade that they didn't start to bump ugles after their first kiss. all to often fan fic righters try to rush these things.
if I have two flaws and both so minor that I feel their not really isn't a flaw per say, more hiccups or something of that nature. those being that you mentioned that its only being four years since Korra first came to republic city. and I cant help but feel that time line is slightly of. its hard to believe that the first three books of LOK all happened with in the same year it jut feels like that everything that happened during that time period was likely over at least a year and a half, closer to two years.
I now the avatar verus doesn't really supply us with many, if any dates but it just feels like saying the equalist movement, the water tribe civil war and harmonic convergence and red loti's stuff probory took longer than a year to happen. hell id argue that book one likely took at lest a year to happen.
the 2ed flaw is more of a personal preference than anything else, I really don't like it when righters don't attribute 'verbal' character delog to any one character, what I like to call floating delog . what the fuck dose that mean?
well something like this
"I hope you feel better?"
" I do now"
"good"
perhaps not the best example but I hope I got my meaning across. I know its sometime irritating to always put something like "I hope you feel better" Korra asked its just a personal preference. and thankful you didn't drag these 'floating delog' moments on to long keeping them brief and too the point was a wise choice.
I give your fan flick a 9/10 a nearly flawlessly character interaction, with wonderful descriptions and atmosphere that that doesn't feel the need to rush to sexy fun times.
